Yulia’s journey into the fashion industry began at the age of 18, when she entered the Miss Oil & Gas beauty competition during her university years. What started as a single experience soon opened the doors to the world of professional modeling. Shortly after, she joined the Fashion Theatre Atelier, where she began participating in runway shows, editorial projects, and fashion campaigns.
Her career soon expanded internationally when she received an opportunity to work in China, gaining valuable experience in the global modeling industry. Working across different fashion markets allowed Yulia to refine her understanding of runway performance, camera presence, and the discipline required to succeed in professional modeling.
Yet beyond the runway, Yulia discovered a deeper passion — guiding and inspiring aspiring models. Recognizing that confidence and personal development are just as important as technique, she envisioned a place where students could learn the art of modeling while building self-expression and elegance. That vision became Runway Revolution Modeling School, now based in Dubai. Designed around Yulia’s own experience in the fashion industry, the academy offers a comprehensive program covering more than 16 disciplines, from runway walking and posing to styling, acting, etiquette, and personal branding. Today, Runway Revolution is more than a modeling school — it is a platform where creativity meets discipline and confidence transforms into presence. Students gain real-world experience through professional photoshoots, fashion shows, and performance training, preparing them for opportunities both within and beyond the fashion industry. For Yulia Ilgaz, modeling has always been about more than appearance. It is about confidence, character, and the ability to express individuality with grace.
